The learning tablet is aimed at young students and elderly.
Alldocube has launched another tablet in 2023, called the iPlay 50. The tablet has made its way to a Chinese e-commerce store and is up for pre-ordering too. Let’s find out what the Alldocube iPlay 50 tablet packs under the hood.
The Alldocube iPlay 50 2023 tablet has a 10.4-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels. It is equipped with an octa-core processor from UNISOC called Tiger T618, which incorporates 2 x A75 cores and 6 x A55 and uses 12nm process technology. The tablet can have up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal memory, which can be expanded up to 2TB using a microSD card.
Concerning graphics, the Alldocube iPlay 50 comes equipped with Bifrost architecture Mali G52 3EE graphics chip clocked up to 850MHz. The GPU supports Vulkan, OpenGL ES 3.0, and other graphic technologies.
The tablet comes with ALLDOCUBE OS, which is a customized version of Android 13 designed specifically for software learning. The processor supports parental control functions, free split screens, and parallel horizons. Additionally, the iPlay 50 has a 5MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear-facing camera.
The iPlay 50 tablet has a 6000mAh battery that supports fast charging through USB-C connectivity. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and Bluetooth 5.0. However, it only supports 4G and WiFi, and does not have 5G connectivity.
We tried to translate the promo images available on JD.com and it has a snippet on it that says, “optional bracket leather case, double-headed stylus and keyboard.” This means that these accessories will also be up for sale alongside the Alldocube iPlay 50. Based on the promotional images shared on JD.com, we can also easily gauge that this tablet is aimed at young students with built-in parental controls for monitored learning. It is also being promoted as a tablet for the elderly with simplified controls and interface.
The Alldocube iPlay 50 2023 learning tablet is now available for reservation on the Jingdong (JD.com) e-commerce platform. It is priced at 699 yuan ($99), which is quite affordable given its specifications. As for the availability, the tablet is available in China for now but might launch globally too.
