Honor Pad V8 Debuts As The First Tablet With Dimensity 8020 Chipset
The tablet has the same specifications as the Honor Tab V7 Pro that was released in August 2021, but with a different name and chipset.

In December 2022, Honor released the Honor Pad V8 Pro tablet that comes with the Dimensity 8100 chipset. Now, the company has launched a standard version called the Honor Pad V8. Below are the specs, features, and pricing details of the new tablet from Honor.
The Honor Pad V8 has an 11-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and a refresh rate of 120Hz. It is equipped with the Dimensity 8020 processor, which is a renamed version of the Dimensity 1100. This tablet is the first to use the D8020 chip.
The Honor Pad V8 has a 5-megapixel camera on the front and a 13-megapixel rear camera with a 2-megapixel depth sensor, and an LED flash. The device is equipped with Honor TurboX technology that enhances its performance and is particularly beneficial for gaming.
The device is available in two variants, one with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage, and the other with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. It is furnished with Quad Speakers that utilize Micron-sized Polymer Bass materials to offer an exceptional theater-like audio experience.
The Honor Pad V8 has the MagicRing feature that supports cross-screen interaction and multi-screen collaboration. It is expected to work well with the newly released Honor MagicBook X14 and X16. The tablet has several features, including parental remote control, that are available within MagicOS 7 (Android 13). It also supports both the Honor Magic Floating Keyboard and the Honor Magic Pencil 3.

The tablet comes with a large battery capacity of 7,250mAh and can be charged at 22.5W. It supports connectivity options including Wi-Fi 6, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax, Bluetooth 5.2, and a USB Type-C. The Pad V8 is designed to be slim and light, measuring 7.35mm in thickness and weighing 485 grams.

The Honor Pad V8 is currently only available for pre-booking in China. To secure a device, users must pay a deposit of 100 Yuan. Once the device becomes available, users will receive a 100 Yuan discount on the final payment. The 128 GB model is priced at approximately CNY 1,799 (approx. $260) while the 256 GB version is available for CNY 1,899 (around $275).
While there is no information on international availability at the moment, Honor’s recent focus on global markets with the Honor Magic5 Pro suggests that the tablet will likely be released in Europe and elsewhere soon.
