HTC A102 Tablet Shows Up in Google GMS Certification With 11-inch Display, Launching Soon
HTC A102 is expected to launch later this month with an 11-inch display, MediaTek SoC, and Android 12 OS.

As the demand for tablets surges and more people rely on them for professional and academic pursuits, numerous tech giants have shifted their focus to capitalize on this lucrative market. Recently spotted in Google GMS Certification, HTC A102 looks promising as it undergoes testing by the organization before its expected release sometime this month. Specifications hint that this upcoming model will likely be a mid-range or budget device of sorts.

As per the report, the HTC A102 boasts a 2K 11-inch display with a 2000×1200 resolution. Powering the tablet is an MTK G85 processor featuring Arm Cortex-A75 and Arm Cortex-A55 cores running at 2GHz and 1.8GHz, respectively.
Under the hood, you get 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD card. It features a 20MP main camera and an 8MP front camera equipped with face detection for easy unlocking through AI recognition technology. The upcoming tablet comes preloaded with Android 12 OS and supports connectivity options including Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity, dual-band wifi plus USB Type C 3 port & OTG support. An 8000mAh battery backs the device.
Based on its specs, the HTC A102 seems reasonable for media streaming and productivity. The battery capacity is also enough to handle heavy usage without draining power or buffering due to slow Wi-Fi connection speeds from single-band routers — the device supports dual bands. The budget tablet is likely to hit the African markets first before expanding globally. This tablet offers an array of features at a reasonable price point, making it an attractive option for consumers and businesses looking for work, entertainment, and communication on one device.
The release of the HTC A102 is yet to be revealed but based on the rumors, we can expect it to launch sometime this month. Stay tuned with us, so you don’t miss a beat when this device hits the market!
