Huawei MateBook E 2023 Debuts With 12.6-inch OLED Display
Huawei arrives with MateBook E 2023, a 2-in-1 laptop with a detachable keyboard and a built-in kickstand to rival the Microsoft Surface Pro.

In addition to the MatePad Air, Huawei has also released the MateBook E 2023 tablet in China, which is being marketed as a strong rival to the Microsoft Surface Pro due to its impressive features.
The MateBook E 2022, is a 2-in-1 notebook with impressive specifications. There are two versions of the device available, which differ based on the storage capacity. Additionally, the notebook is equipped with a smart keyboard that can be purchased separately.
The Huawei MateBook E 2023 is set to have a four-narrow bezel design, with a single camera on the back for photography. Additionally, it comes with a magnetic stylus that can be placed on the top and is primarily designed to enhance aesthetic appeal. It has a 12.6-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and it maintains the same resolution and aspect ratio as the 2022 MateBook E model with 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a 16:10 aspect ratio. However, there is a difference in its refresh rate which is now doubled to 120Hz.

The Huawei Matebook E 2023 is powered by upgraded Intel Ader Lake-U processors. However, it does not have the newer Raptor Lake-U successor CPUs, such as the Intel Core i5-1335U and Core i7-1355U options. Rather, it uses the 10-core processors of the 12th generation Core i5-1230U and Core i7-1260U. The MateBook E 2023 comes with up to 1TB of storage, which is twice as much compared to its previous model. It also has the Iris Xe Graphics iGPU series and up to 16GB of RAM.
The MateBook E for 2023 features a 42Wh battery that is paired with a 10.8Wh keyboard accessory battery. The keyboard supports Bluetooth connectivity, which is an advancement over the Microsoft Surface Pro 9.
The notebook has symmetrical dual Type-C interfaces. On the left, it has a USB 3.2 Gen 1 port, while on the right, it has a Thunderbolt 4 port. Additionally, it supports both SCP and UFCS charging protocols, making it the first Huawei notebook to do so.
