Rumored Samsung Tab A7 Lite Tablet Surfaces in Leaked Images
Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet has leaked in images. It could debut around June this year.
Pictures of Samsung’s unconfirmed Galaxy Tab A7 Lite tablet have surfaced on the internet, thanks to a leak by Evan Blass on Voice. This leak by Blass falls in perfect alignment with Samsung’s alleged product roadmap that went public a few weeks back. The South Korean company seems to be working on a budget tablet in the A-series. Not just images, the leak also highlights some of the alleged specs.
Leaked A7 Lite Images With Expected Specs
Going by the leaked images, the budget tablet has a rear camera without flash. The tablet is tipped to pack a MediaTek Helio P22T chipset clubbed with 3GB of RAM and a massive 5,100mAh battery.
It’s worth noting that the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite belongs to the pair of ‘Lite’ tablets that Samsung is expected to launch in June this year. The second in the series is expected to be the S7 Lite.
To recall, WalkingCat leaked some information about the rumored tablets in February this year. The S7 Lite is expected to feature a 12.4-inch display, while the Galaxy A7 Lite is rumored to pack an 8.7-inch screen. The Galaxy S7 Lite is tipped to come powered by a Snapdragon 750G processor with 4GB of RAM and 5G connectivity. The S7 Lite could debut in Black, Green, Pink, and Silver color options.
The Galaxy Tab A7 Lite seems to be a pretty compact tablet that is an inch bigger than Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2. The leaked images show a stock wallpaper that we had earlier seen on the upcoming Galaxy Book Pro series. The wallpaper trend takes after Samsung’s recent flagship, the Galaxy S21 Ultra.
Check out the tweet by WalkingCat featuring the leaked marketing material from Samsung. The leaked images show that the South Korean giant could launch the Tab A7 Lite in June this year. Similarly, the Galaxy Tab S7 Lite would also launch alongside.
Upcoming Budget Alternatives By Samsung
Both Tab A7 Lite and Tab S7 Lite take after the more powerful tablets in the series, the Tab A7 and Tab S7. Samsung aimed the standard variants at general users who wanted decent specs and enough power to get by their day-to-day tasks.
In contrast, the ‘Lite’ variants are aimed at budget-conscious buyers who want an affordable device with modest specs. The upcoming tablets in the ‘Lite’ series could taste success if Samsung cracks the pricing.
While the leaks have covered enough information around Tab A7 Lite and Tab S7 Lite, they are yet to reveal more details around their release and supposed pricing.
As per our expectations, Samsung could most likely follow a similar price trend as the S6 Lite for its S7 Lite tablet. We are looking at a cost bracket of around $350. Given the tablet’s rumored specs and design, we can expect the Tab A7 Lite could be priced even lower than the S7 Lite.
