HP Elite x2 1013 G3: The Basics
The HP Elite x2 1013 G3 looks like a typical Windows tablet with its build-in kickstand, keyboard cover and active stylus. However, it is bigger than most. While typical detachables usually offer a 12-inch screen, the x2 1013 G3 has a bigger 13-inch display. Even though it is bigger, HP managed to fit it into the same size metal body as its predecessor.
It offers a resolution of 1920 x 1080 or 3000 x 2000, depending on what you chose. A unique feature is HP’s Sure View technology which allows you to narrow the viewing angles. That way, neighbors on a train or plane won’t be able to read your screen. It works in landscape orientation only.
When ordering the 2-in-1 tablet, you can choose between several 8th gen Intel Core processors from an Core i3 dual-core up to a Core i7 quad-core chip. Additionally, you can get up to 16GB of RAM and an up to 1TB large SSD.
The Elite x2 1013 G3 offers three USB Type C ports in total. Two of those are Thunderbolt 3 compatible, while the other one is a USB 3.1 connector. You can use those to charge the device too. There are no additional ports.
On the back, we get a fingerprint scanner. However, an infrared camera with Windows Hello face recognition is build-in as well.
