Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab: The Basics
The biggest feature this Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab packs is its support for Google Assistant Ambient Mode. It turns your tablet into a Google Assistant-enabled smart display without the need for any docking accessory. The Yoga branding is included for its kickstand that can flip open to keep the tablet upright while you can even choose to hang it on a hook. Its kickstand mechanism has a cylindrical gripping area allowing for a firmer hold with a single hand.
An entry-level octa-core Snapdragon 439 processor fuels this Lenovo tablet that comes with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. These RAM variants are paired with 32GB and 64GB of onboard storage respectively. You can also pop in a microSD card of up to 256GB capacity. The front of the device is dominated by a 10.1-inch display that has a resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels in the 16:10 aspect ratio. An option to connect on the go via 4G LTE is also present with support for a wide variety of bands.
Other than these, the Yoga Smart Tablet also packs a pair of JBL speakers which are 2 watts each. Lenovo retained the 3.5mm headphone jack and included 3 far-field microphones that also help the tablet with its Google Assistant Ambient Mode. The tab comes running Android Pie out of the box and has Amazon Assistant preinstalled, although the feature could be region-specific. It has an IP52 rating for water and dust resistance and has a USB Type-C port for charging and data syncing.
