Teclast P10HD Specifications, Pricing, Availability, & Alternatives
Teclast makes a lot of tablets and many of those are general-purpose machines that serve you well for basic uses and don’t cost a lot. For around $100, the Teclast P10HD is the newest addition to the company’s portfolio that packs a respectable set of features that are hard to find in tablets in a similar price range. It could also be used when you’re on the move, thanks to its 4G LTE connectivity that also allows the calling function.
Here is everything that you need to know about the Teclast P10HD, including its full specs, pricing, and some alternatives that you can consider.

Teclast P10HD: The Basics
Starting from the front, we have an FHD 10.1-inch IPS display in the 16:10 aspect ratio that is better for consuming media in general. Even though the bezels are relatively thin, they are wide enough to give you some grip. The tablet has a great build quality, thanks to the use of metal for its back. You have got that 3.5mm headphone jack for connecting wired earphones and the slate uses a micro USB port for charging and data syncing.
Interestingly, the Teclast P10HD comes preinstalled with Android 9 Pie, which isn’t something you often see on such Chinese tablets. An octa-core processor from Unisoc powers this tablet, which isn’t particularly a known brand in the west. It is paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of ROM that you can further expand using a microSD card. Teclast uses its AI to speed up some of the workings, but your mileage may vary.
You’ll find a slot to insert a 4G LTE-enabled SIM card for better internet connectivity on the go, while you can also make phone calls. It covers the basics with support for dual-band Wi-Fi, GPS, and Bluetooth 5.0. A 5MP rear camera and a 2MP camera on its front help you click some images or make video calls. Teclast claims to have included a large speaker in the tablet that also houses a 6000mAh battery.

Availability & Pricing
This 4G LTE-enabled Teclast tablet is already on sale in China and you can easily buy one of these from retailers like Gearbest, Banggood, and AliExpress that ship to pretty much everywhere on the planet. You can find the tablet listed for anywhere between $100 and $127, depending on the prevailing discount situation when you visit these sites. Make sure to pick the plug type that suites your local system to avoid any inconvenience. Do factor in the shipping costs and the usually extended delivery timeframe for shipments from China.
Teclast P10HD Alternatives
The first tablet that comes to my mind is this year’s Amazon Fire HD 10 (review) that offers excellent value for its price segment, plus it offers the range of apps that’s popular outside China. In addition to that, you cannot go wrong with the excellent Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019 (review) with the kind of package it offers. Though you’ll have to shell out up to $200 for it, which is still worth it. The Lenovo Tab M10 (review) is also worth checking out as a great option.
We reviewed the Xiaomi Mi Pad 4 Plus (review) earlier this year and it surprised us with its sheer quality and performance levels. Besides these, you can go with the Lenovo Yoga Smart Tab (review) that we actually liked in our recent review. If you can push your budget a bit, then you open yourself to more premium options like the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e (review) and the iPad 10.2 (review). Despite the fact they cost almost triple the Teclast P10HD, both tablets offer incredible value with their respective strong points and flaws.

Teclast may have found a way to pack almost everything in a tablet that a home user might want, including some away time. It has got a large FHD display that should be good enough for watching a couple episodes, while the 4G LTE connectivity allows you to stay connected almost anywhere. Plus, it comes loaded with a relatively newer version of Android — Pie.-
