Teclast P80X: The Basics

The newly launched Teclast P80X tablet has quite a generic design with an 8-inch panel on the front that is flanked by minimal bezels all around. The said display is an IPS panel that carries a resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels accounting for a pixel density of 189ppi. It is a compact device that can fit in your palm, thanks to its 8-inch screen. It is powered by an octa-core Spreadtrum processor that is paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of onboard storage.

A 4200mAh battery is housed inside this 9.8mm thick tablet that is rated to last up to 10 hours under test conditions. The Teclast P80X comes preinstalled with Android 9 Pie and has two basic cameras—a 2MP camera unit on the back and a VGA 0.3MP one on the front. It has GPS built-in and accepts a microSD card of up to 128GB capacity for added memory. Besides the basic Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity, the device can also take in a 4G LTE-enabled SIM card.

4G Connectivity with VoLTE

While on the go, stable Wi-Fi connectivity could be an issue, especially when commuting and 4G LTE option becomes a must for those who identify with this situation. This Teclast tablet supports TDD+FDD 4G LTE along with VoLTE for making and accepting calls without losing the internet connection. However, the tablet lacks an earpiece, so you will have to use a headphone for calls.
