Xiaomi Pad 6 Series Key Specs, Expected Launch Timeline Tipped
The latest leak about the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Pad 6 Pro reveals the expected launch timeline for the flagship series along with the key specifications.

Xiaomi is gearing up to release the Xiaomi Pad 6 series. There have been several leaks about the specifications and design of the tablet in recent weeks, and now a new report has emerged with information about the display and chipset specifications, as well as when we can expect to see it launch.
Digital Chat Station (DCS), a well-known Weibo tipster, has reported that the anticipated Xiaomi Pad 6 series tablets could hit shelves as early as March or April. Earlier reports suggest an April release date for these tablets alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra and Xiaomi Band 8.

Digital Chat Station has reported that the upcoming flagship tablets from Xiaomi will likely leverage either MediaTek’s Dimensity 9000 or Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset. It is expected that the base version of the Xiaomi Pad 6 could host a more powerful processor – namely, Snapdragon 870 versus its predecessor’s (Xiaomi Pad 5) Snapdragon 860. Moreover, per past models’ trends, the Pad 6 series may include an upgraded display with resolutions up to 2.8K/3K for enhanced visuals and performance, surpassing even those of the previous generation (i.e., 2.5k screens).
The Pro version of the Xiaomi Pad 6 is anticipated to feature an identical display yet boasts a higher refresh rate of 144Hz. Since there have been counteractive reports that suggest the Pro might even include an AMOLED screen instead. Regarding its processor, the Pro model is expected to come packed with the beefier and more powerful Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip. Additionally, both variants are reported to house up to 12GB RAM and 512GB internal storage.
Recent leaks suggest the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 may feature a camera module similar to the popular Xiaomi 12 smartphone. With an impressive display boasting 120Hz/144Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision, and HDR10+ support, this device is set to cause ripples in the premium tablet segment. Additionally, it’s expected to run on a dual-cell battery with a 10,000mAh capacity and 67W fast charging capability for optimal performance.
As promising as the recent information about the Xiaomi Pad 6 series may sound, let’s not get carried away just yet. Soon enough, we will receive some authoritative details from Xiaomi themselves; therefore, stay tuned with us to find out what happens next!
