The Galaxy Tab Active 5 was previously seen in the SafetyKorea and KTL certification databases earlier this month. At that time, it was expected to be called the Galaxy Tab Active 5 Pro. However, it has now been confirmed that it will be launched as Galaxy Tab Active 5.

In the latest leak, it has been revealed through the Bluetooth SIG certification listing that a new tablet is soon to be launched. However, no specifications of the device have been disclosed yet. On the other hand, the FCC certification listing provides some details regarding the tablet. It suggests that the device will have 128GB storage geared with microSD support for up to 64GB, S-Pen support, and a 15W charger with USB-C.

The tablet is expected to be available in various versions designed for different markets. The list of versions is as follows:

  • SM-X300: Wi-Fi Only Global
  • SM-X306B: 5G Global
  • SM-X306N: 5G South Korea
  • SM-X308B: 5G Global

The SM-X306B model number tablet has recently appeared on the Geekbench database. As per the listing, the tablet will be powered by  Exynos 1380 octa-core CPU and run Android 14. It will feature 6GB of RAM.

The Exynos 1380 chipset powers a variety of Samsung Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy Tab S9 FE, Galaxy Tab S9 FE+, Galaxy A54, Galaxy F54, and Galaxy M54. This 5nm chipset features four high-performance CPU cores and four power-efficient CPU cores. The Geekbench scores indicate that the tablet scored 1022 in the single-core test and 2815 in the multicore test.

As a part of the Galaxy Tab Active series, this tablet is expected to have an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance. Moreover, it could include MIL-STD-810G, which is a military specification that ensures durability for electronic devices in harsh conditions.

Beyond this information, not much is known about the Tab Active5 that is yet to be launched. However, we can expect to receive more details about it in the near future.
