Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2: The Overview
The Lenovo ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2 is a convertible 12.3-inch tablet with a 1900 x 1200 IPS display powered by a range of Intel Core Ultra CPUs. Lenovo hasn’t clarified which models buyers can choose from, although all options will support Intel’s vPro suite of business-focused security features.
The ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2 will be available with up to 32GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of storage. A 42-watt-hour battery keeps all this hardware running.
Lenovo went with two USB Type-C ports on the ThinkPad X12 Detachable Gen 2: one supports Thunderbolt 4, with Power Deliver 3.0 and DisplayPort 2.1, while the other is a 10Gbps port. The ThinkPad also has a combo audio jack and a nano SIM slot, with LTE and 5G support. The front camera has an IR sensor, which works with Windows 11’s Windows Hello facial recognition technology.
