Galaxy Tab S9 Series Specs and Pricing Leak Ahead of Unpacked Event

Samsung is rumored to launch two new foldable phones and three new tablets in the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. But some sources have already leaked the specifications and pricing of the Galaxy Tab S9 series before the event, which is scheduled on July 26. Let’s take a closer look at what Samsung has in store for the tablet segment.

Ishan Agarwal, a tipster, has shared information about the upcoming Samsung tablets. The Galaxy Tab S9 will have an 11-inch OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and WQXGA resolution. On the other hand, the Galaxy Tab S9+ will have a 12.4-inch OLED screen with the same refresh rate, while the Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra will have the biggest screen size of 14.6 inches with the same refresh rate. The screen resolution of the Tab S9 is WQXGA, while the other two devices have slightly higher WQXGA+ resolution.

The three tablets share the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor. However, there are differences in their RAM and storage capacities. The Galaxy Tab S9 can have up to 12GB RAM and 256GB storage, whereas the Galaxy Tab S9+ can have up to 16GB RAM and 512GB storage. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra is expected to have up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage. All three tablets have four speakers, an optical fingerprint reader, and an S Pen. They are also expected to include Wi-Fi 6E, a USB 3.2 Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and Samsung DeX.

According to reports, the Galaxy Tab S9 is expected to come with a 13MP rear camera, a 12MP front-facing camera, and a battery of 8,400mAh. The Galaxy Tab S9+ may feature a 12MP+8MP dual-camera setup on the rear, a 12MP ultrawide front camera, and a battery of 10,090mAh. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra might boast a 13MP+8MP dual-camera setup on the rear and a 12MP + 12MP front-facing camera. It features an 11,200mAh battery. Earlier reports also revealed that all of these tablets will have an IP67 rating for water and dust resistance.

It is probable that the devices will have the Android 13-based One UI 5.1.1 software installed when purchased. The beta version of this software is currently available for the Galaxy Tab S8 in South Korea. The Galaxy Tab S9 may have 45W fast charging and a guarantee of three years of Android OS updates, similar to last year. The tablets will be offered with both Wi-Fi and Wi-Fi + Cellular options, like other Samsung tablets.

Galaxy Tab S9 Price in Europe Revealed

SamInsider has reported that the pricing for the Wi-Fi-only Galaxy Tab S9 in Europe will begin at €929.95 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage version. The 12GB RAM + 256GB storage version may cost €1,049.95.

According to reports, the Wi-Fi-only version of the Galaxy Tab S9+ with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage may cost €1,149. The Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra’s version with 12GB RAM and 256GB storage may cost €1,369.95 for the Wi-Fi-only model. It’s believed that the 5G versions of these tablets will be even more expensive.
