Honor showcased its latest products at an event in China today. Along with the Magic V2 foldable phone, the company also unveiled its new tablet – the MagicPad 13. It is worth noting that the MagicPad 13 is the first tablet from Honor to come with the MagicOS 7.2 operating system, which offers Honors’ new mobile office experience. Additionally, the Honor Docs app includes a word processor, and the Honor Notes app offers note-taking capabilities.

The high-end MagicPad 13 tablet from Honor boasts a camera module similar to the one found on the Honor 90 series, as well as thin bezels on the front. Notably, the device comes with a 13-inch 2.8K IMAX Enhanced display featuring an ∆E<1 color accuracy – a first for an LCD panel. The display additionally offers a resolution of 2880×1840, a 144Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a peak brightness of 700 nit.

The tablet’s screen-to-body ratio is also impressive, standing at up to 90%. With HDR 10 support, the Honor MagicPad 13 has been designed to offer top-quality multimedia experiences. As for its dimensions, the Honor tablet is just 6.4mm thick and weighs in at 660g.

The Honor MagicPad 13 tablet features the Snapdragon 888 chipset that was introduced back in early 2019. This processor is built on a 5 nm architecture and has the ability to easily manage demanding tasks. However, note that it may produce more heat than you’re accustomed to. The tablet will be offered by Honor with alternative options of 8GB, 12GB, or 16GB RAM and an internal storage capacity of either 256GB or 512GB. The MagicPad 13 features a 13MP f/2.0 autofocus camera on the rear and a 9MP f/2.2 fixed-focus front-facing camera for selfies.

MagicPad 13 has a unique feature of bare-ear 3D spatial audio, which is a first in the industry. Spatial audio is an innovative audio technology that provides a more immersive and realistic audio experience than traditional stereo or surround sound systems. It produces a three-dimensional soundscape, which gives users a sense of depth and directionality, elevating their overall listening experience.

The tablet also has eight powerful subwoofers that allow you to experience spatial audio without using earphones. It runs MagicOS 7.2 operating system on top of Android 13. Additionally, Honor has included some productivity apps such as Honor Docs, which function like the Microsoft Office suite. It comes with a USB 3.2 Gen 1 type-C port that can be used to transmit 4k 60fps output to an external monitor and also connect storage devices.

By using the Honor Magic Pencil on the MagicPad 13, users can easily highlight text and objects and then copy, cut, or paste them across apps. Additionally, it allows users to pick a color from anywhere in the user interface, which can be useful for design applications.

Honor MagicPad 13 Pricing and Availability
