New Leak Reveals Xiaomi Pad 6 Launch Timeline
As per the latest leak, the upcoming Xiaomi Pad 6 series is all set to go official in April.
Xiaomi’s highly anticipated Xiaomi Pad 6 tablet looks to be just around the corner! Numerous rumors have been circulating about its features, and now the latest leak confirms that we won’t have to wait much longer for this tablet by Xiaomi.
Tech blogger @DCS recently reported on Weibo that the Xiaomi Pad 6 will launch soon, with model number 23046PR50C. Additionally, it has been revealed that this tablet will feature Qualcomm’s powerful Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC – making it the only device with such an exclusive flagship chip in the near future.
It remains to be seen whether this will help propel the tablet’s sales even further, particularly in China where it is already highly popular. According to AnTuTu benchmarks, the chip registers more than 1.1 million points – a fact that guarantees that Xiaomi Pad 6 could be the most powerful tablet yet.
Based on prior reports, the Mi Pad 6 series is comprised of two products: the Mi Pad 6 and the Mi Pad 6 Pro. Both have completed their development and testing processes, which means that official details should be released shortly.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Specifications
Built on the 4nm TSMC process, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC features a Cortex-X2 + 3 Cortex-A710 + 4 Cortex-A510 CPU combination with respective frequencies of 3.19GHz, 2.75GHz, and 2.02 GHz for superior performance and power efficiency. Compared to its predecessor Snapdragon 8 Gen1, this new processor provides an energy-saving reduction of 15% across all components – up to 30% when analyzing both CPU and GPU separately! It’s a considerable upgrade in comparison with the earlier generation chipsets.
The Pad 6 is tipped to come with a 2.8K LCD screen that offers a higher screen-to-body ratio than its predecessor in the Mi Pad 5 series. Plus, it might feature a camera technology similar to that of their flagship smartphone – the Xiaomi 13. Even though we’re still waiting for details on battery capacity, we do know this tablet will likely come equipped with 67W wired flash charging capabilities.
Rumors have been swirling that the Xiaomi Pad 6 is set to launch sometime in April. Since it already has the network access license, there’s a good chance it will be released alongside the Xiaomi 13 Ultra smartphone at an April event.
We are looking forward to the official launch of the Xiaomi Pad 6 series and we remain optimistic that these reports will prove accurate. Keep up with us in April as the Xiaomi pad 6 series goes official.
