Galaxy Tab A9+ Appears on FCC Certification Website, Launch Imminent
Samsung is preparing to release two new Galaxy A-series tablets, the Galaxy Tab A9 and the Galaxy Tab A9+. Recently, the Galaxy Tab A9+ was spotted on India’s BIS certification, as well as on Geekbench, with a Snapdragon 695 SoC and 4GB of RAM. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Tab A9 received certifications from the FCC and Wi-Fi Alliance. Now, in the latest turn of events, the Galaxy Tab A9+ has received FCC certification before its official launch. The FCC listing has revealed the tablet’s model number, tablet dimensions, battery capacity, and fast charging details.
Galaxy Tab A9+ Dimensions Revealed
Based on the FCC certification document spotted by the folks at MySmartPrice, it has been revealed that the model number of the Galaxy Tab A9+ is SM-X210. The document further states that the tablet will have dimensions of 257.11×168.66×6.94mm. Additionally, the certification confirms that the tablet will come equipped with various connectivity features including Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, which operates on both 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz frequency bands.
Additionally, the listing confirms that the tablet underwent testing with a charger having model number EP-T1510 and a battery with model number WT-S-W11. This suggests that the Galaxy Tab A9+ will come with a 7,040mAh battery (Typical) that supports 15W fast charging.
This is not the first time we have reported about the Tab A9+, the tablet has recently appeared on Geekbench. The benchmark listing confirms that the tablet will come with Android 13 pre-installed. It will be powered by a Snapdragon 695 SoC and will feature 4GB of RAM.
The Galaxy Tab A9 has recently received FCC certification. According to the listing, the tablet will have a length of 210.7mm and a width of 124.7mm. The certification also confirmed that the device will come with a 5,000mAh battery that supports 15W fast charging.
Recently, live images of the Galaxy Tab A9 were leaked through the SafetyKorea certification process. The images confirmed that the tablet will have a single rear-facing camera. However, the other specifications of the Galaxy Tab A9 series such as its display size, RAM, storage configuration, and camera information are still unknown. Additionally, Samsung has not yet revealed the launch date of the Galaxy Tab A9 series. We will have to wait for more information to emerge about this upcoming tablet lineup in the coming days.
Launch Imminent
Samsung is gearing up to launch its new Galaxy Tab A9 and Tab A9+ tablets soon. The company is currently in the process of approving the two tablets before their official release. Additionally, a support page for the Galaxy Tab A9 is now live on one of Samsung’s official portals, indicating that the tablet may be available in the market soon.
