Cube Mix Plus Windows Tablet: Specifications, Price & Comparisons
The Cube Mix Plus is a very inexpensive Windows 10 tablet from China. While it is a lot cheaper then devices from more famous brands, the internal hardware is actually very powerful. Cube is shipping the Mix Plus with an Intel Core m3 7th generation processor, 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. Its 10.6-inch screen offers a full HD resolution at 1920 x 1080. You can get the 2-in-1 with an optional keyboard dock and an active stylus. Here is everything you should know.
Highlights
- 10.6-inch full HD screen
- Fast Intel Core m3 chipset
- Decent build quality
- Very inexpensive
Cube Mix Plus: The Basics
Don’t underestimate the Cube Mix Plus. Even though it is very cheap, the build quality is surprisingly good. As you might expect, it is not as high-end as a Microsoft Surface Pro. But the body is made out of metal and feels solid. It features a USB Type C port, a microSD card slot and a microUSB 3.0 port.
You can compare the performance of the tablet to cheaper, fanless notebooks. Inside runs an Intel Core m3 7th generation processor together with 4GB of RAM and a 128GB SSD. So it is faster than devices shipped with an Atom x5 oder Apollo Lake chip. Since it runs standard Windows 10, you can install and use apps like Adobe Photoshop or Cyberlinks PowerDirector without making big compromises.
In case you want to transform the tablet into a notebook, Cube is offering an optional keyboard dock. In addition to the keyboard, we get full size USB ports and a trackpad.

Availability & Price
While the Cube Mix Plus is not sold directly in most countries, you can import in from China to almost every country. You can expect a shipping time of roughly two to three weeks. Usually, the Mix Plus costs around 400 US Dollars. But often you can find deals, that make it noticeably cheaper.
Comparisons
Considering the hardware, the Cube Mix Plus is a direct competitor to the much more expensive Samsung Galaxy Book 10. Both offer 10-inch screen, a full HD resolution and the 7th generation Core m3. But, considering the price, it rather competes with the higher-end versions of the noticeably weaker Atom x5 tablets like the Lenovo MIIX 320 or ASUS Transformer Book Mini. You can also check out the Acer Switch 3 as an alternative.
