Lenovo Tab M10 Gen 3: The Basics
The Lenovo Tab M10 Gen 3 is a budget device, and that shows in the specs. The 10.1-inch IPS display has a 1920 x 1200 resolution, but the rest of the hardware is quite standard. The octa-core Unisoc T610 is an entry-level processor that is really only good for basic tablet tasks, and the 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage on the base model stand on the low end.
There is a 4GB/64GB version available, but it faces competition from other manufacturers like the Honor Pad X9, which comes with 128GB of storage as standard. Battery life with the 5100 mAh Li-Po battery achieves 5 hours in our standardized battery life tests.
You do get a microSDXC card slot, at least, which can help when you start running up against the limited onboard storage. Lenovo also included a headphone jack with the Tab M10 Gen 3.
Lenovo shipped the Tab M10 Gen 3 with Android 11, but the tablet has since been updated to Android 12. The company doesn’t plan to release Android 13 for the Tab M10 Gen 3, but it will release security updates until the end of Feb 2025.

Pricing and Availability
Amazon Germany lists the Lenovo Tab M10 Gen 3 at €179, with UK pricing starting at £179. US-based customers may be out of luck, as neither Amazon nor Lenovo sell the basic Tab M10 in the US (at least, as of March 2024). You’ll have to step up to the M10 Plus Gen 3 if you’re in the US.
Lenovo Tab M10 Gen 3 Alternatives
Price-wise, Lenovo’s main competitors are fellow budget-oriented products like the Amazon Fire HD 10 2023 and the aforementioned Honor Pad X9. You can buy both for less than $200, although the Honor will be hard to buy if you’re in the USA. If you’re after a similarly small tablet, however, then your best options are either the Lenovo Tab M10 Plus Gen 3 or the Samsung Galaxy Tab A8. Both of these are more expensive, but you do get a better overall experience.

- Solid built quality
- Good screens
- Pure Android
- Optional pen
- Weak M10 battery life
- Probably just one big update
