Are you looking for a tablet that is running Android 10? Below we’ve listed all tablets that are currently being shipped or have been updated to the 10th version of Android.
New Android 10 Features
Google is introducing a couple of new features with Android 10. Among those are a new dark mode and a focus mode. With the later one, you’ll be able to focus better on one task without being interrupted by social media.
We’re getting new location and privacy features, as well as an incognito mode for Google Maps. The parental controls are updated too. On top of that, brands like Samsung and Huawei will add their own additional software features with their new versions of OneUI and EMUI.
Will Your Tablet Get Updates?
Since Google is not pushing updates directly to most tablets, chances are high that you’ll have to wait a couple of month until yours get’s updated to Android 10.
In the past, Samsung has been better with updates than most competitors. While I can’t promise you anything, I think it’s very likely that the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6, S5e and S4 will be updated. The Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1 2019, A 8.0 2019 and A 8.0 with S Pen should get it too. However, I’m not that sure about the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.5 2018.
At the time of writing this, Huawei has started to list the MediaPad M6 with version 10 in a couple of European countries. They also introduced the MatePad Pro running the newest version out of the box.
Oher manufactures like Lenovo, Chuwi, Teclast and others haven’t stated yet whether they’re going to update their existing devices.
