Apple iPad Pro 11”: The Basics
The Apple iPad Pro 11” offers a very modern design with small and symmetrical bezels around the screen. It is just 5.6mm thin, weighs under 500g, and features a lot of premium features. Among those are four speakers, Face ID facial recognition, and active stylus support. While it does not have a fingerprint scanner, its Face ID system works great.
Even though the iPad Pro has a branded Liquid Retina Display, it is a standard IPS screen. However, it is a very modern one with a brightness of 600nits and a high resolution of 2388 x 1668 pixels. Other hardware specifications include an Apple A12X Bionic processor, 4GB to 6GB of RAM and an up to 1TB internal storage.
Apple build-in a lot of interesting features that are made possible by its unique hardware. For example, using the depth-camera on the front, you can record and send Animoji based on your facial expressions. The screen supports Apple’s ProMotion technology which means it can have a refresh rate of up to 120Hz.
Apple Pencil 2 & Smart Keyboard Folio
Two official accessories for the iPad Pro are the Apple Pencil 2 and the Smart Keyboard Folio. The later one is basically just a keyboard cover. Both have to be purchased separately.
If you want to write with your tablet, the Smart Keyboard Folio is a pretty good keyboard cover for occasional office work. However, since it is a bit smaller than a standard keyboard and has a very small key travel only, it might not be perfect to work with the whole day. A nice improvement compared to its predecessor is that the keyboard cover protects the front and the back now.

The Apple Pencil 2 is an active stylus that improved a lot compared to the previous version. For example, it supports simple gestures now. By tapping the side you can switch tools in the notes app, for example. It also supports wireless charging now. For that, you just place the Apple Pencil 2 on top of the iPad Pro. There is a magnetic bar for that.
