Lenovo launched the Tab M8 Gen 4 in the latter half of 2023. It is a successor to the Tab M8 Gen 3. Lenovo’s budget tablet comes with an 8-inch IPS LCD HD display at 1280 x 800 pixels resolution. Under the hood, this tablet is powered by a MediaTek Helio A22 chipset with 2GB/3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB storage (depending on the variant) that can be further expanded via microSD card.
The tablet gets a 2MP selfie camera and 5MP rear camera. It runs Android 12 (Android Go edition) out-of-the-box but will be upgraded to Android 13 soon. Moreover, Lenovo promises up to 3 years of security updates for this tablet.
A 5,100mAh battery backs the Lenovo Tab M8 Gen 4. The connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 5.0, USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The tablet measures 197.97 x 119.82 x 8.95mm and weighs 320 grams.
