Teclast P10S: The Basics

Positioned in the entry-level segment of the market, the Teclast P10S has a metal finish on its flat back that houses some branding and its primary camera system. Its front is dominated by a large 10.1-inch HD display that is surrounded by rather thin bezels measuring just 7mm. The display is fully laminated and is covered with a 2.5D glass for added protection. Teclast has preinstalled Android 9 Pie on its budget tablet.

The tablet supports 4G LTE connectivity and lets you make calls via VoLTE. You can pop in two 4G SIM cards and it supports a host of bands, so it should work in your region but it’s always better to give it a check. Of course, Wi-Fi with 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands, along with GPS and Bluetooth options are already present. Over at the back, the P10S has a 5MP autofocus camera with a 2MP one placed on the opposite side.

On the inside, a Spreadtrum SC9863A CPU powers the unit with its eight cores running at 1.6 GHz. Supporting the processor, the company has included 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of onboard storage that can be further expanded using a microSD card. A pair of speakers are present on one of its edge. The Teclast P10S packs a battery of 6000 mAh that is rated to last for up to 10 hours with mixed usage.

Teclast has already put this tablet up for preorders with the shipping expected to start from October 9. It is available from Banggood which is known to source products from China and ship across the globe. Its price has been set at $89.99 for the time being and it might change over time.
