Vivo Pad 2 Gets MIIT Certification in China, Imminent Launch in April
The successor to Vivo Pad — the Vivo Pad 2 has reportedly received MIIT certification in China. The tablet is expected to go official by April and will be available globally.

Vivo recently debuted its first tablet—Vivo Pad—with an 11-inch display, Snapdragon 875 SoC, and other features. It was designed with a dual camera setup on the back and is only available within Mainland China. Now rumors are circulating that Vivo is crafting its successor: Vivo Pad 2. This potential device has already been granted certification from China’s MIIT. Keep reading to find out more information about the upcoming tablet.
The Chinese Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) recently approved a Vivo device with the model number PA2373. Although its name remains unknown, it is suspected to be the upcoming Vivo Pad 2. Unfortunately, details regarding this new tablet remain scarce at the moment; however, insiders suggest that we’ll likely see it released by April’s end and will feature either a flagship or mid-range processor as its main power source.
The Vivo Pad 2 promises to be available internationally, expanding its reach beyond the original model. If priced affordably, it has the potential to attract hordes of customers–not only in India but all over.
Vivo’s debut tablet — Vivo Pad — launched in April 2022 with a highly-defined 11-inch LCD screen, boasting an astonishing 2.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate, equipped with Dolby Vision support. Furthermore, the device boasts a quad-speaker system enhanced by Dolby Atmos for improved sound quality. It comes powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 with Adreno 650 GPU.
The tablet sports a dual rear camera that boasts 13MP and 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens capabilities. Plus, an 8MP front shooter allows you to take selfies with ease. The powerhouse also has 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage. An 8,040mAh battery coupled with 44W fast charging support backs the device.
With Xiaomi gearing up to launch its Mi Pad 6 series in the coming months, it would be interesting to see how the competition pans out between the Vivo Pad 2 and Mi Pad 6.
