Xiaomi Pad 6 Launched in India at Rs. 26,999, Rivals iPad 9
Xiaomi Pad 6 finally goes official in India in two variants.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 has been launched in India after its initial release in China earlier this year. The tablet features an 11-inch LCD screen and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 870 chipset. It runs on MIUI 14, based on Android 13. The tablet also has a 13-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie camera. Xiaomi claims that the battery can last for over two days on a full charge.
Xiaomi Pad 6 Price in India
The Xiaomi Pad 6 is available in India in two different configurations of RAM and storage. The 6GB + 128GB model costs Rs. 26,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 28,999. The available colors are Graphite Grey and Mist Blue. Customers can use an ICICI Bank instant discount to purchase the 6GB + 128GB model for Rs. 23,999, and the 8GB + 256GB model for Rs. 25,999.
The Xiaomi Pad 6 offers a fantastic value. Even though it's quite affordable, it offers tons of flagship features like a metal body, a pretty 144Hz display, powerful hardware, and up-to-date software. You can get it with a keyboard and pen - however, some features like a fingerprint scanner are missing.
Xiaomi announced that the release date of the tablet in India will be on June 21, and will be available on Amazon, Mi.com, and other retail stores. Additionally, Xiaomi Pad 6 keyboard and cover and Smart Pen (2nd Gen) are priced at Rs. 4,999 and Rs. 1,499, and Rs. 5,999, respectively. These accessories are also slated for release on June 21.
The Xiaomi Pad 6, with its launch price in India, is expected to encounter some stiff competition from rivals such as Apple iPad 9. The Indian market has diverse consumer preferences and is price-sensitive. It’s worth noting that there is not much difference between the pricing of the iPad 9 and Pad 6 in India. The customers have the option to choose iPad over a Xiaomi tablet without burning a hole in their pockets.
