The powerful gaming tablet finally become available in regions outside China.
Lenovo is widening the global availability of its popular Legion gaming tablets. The Lenovo Legion Tab, which is the revamped version of the Legion Tab Y700 2023 model and was exclusive to the Chinese market, is now launching worldwide. After much delay, the Legion Tab will finally be available to buyers around the globe.
Lenovo’s Legion Tab is aimed at gamers who prefer a smaller-sized tablet. With an 8.8-inch display, Lenovo has equipped the Legion Tab with a PureSight gaming panel that offers a QHD+ resolution and a 144Hz refresh rate. The panel is also quite bright, with a typical brightness of 500 nits, and covers the DCI-PC color gamut.
Interestingly, Lenovo has also integrated the tablet with a gaming assistant software that allows users to toggle between performance modes, turn on screen recording, and bypass charging.
It packs a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 processor, which is supported by the Legion ColdFront: Vapor thermal solution. There’s 12GB of LPDDR5X RAM and 256GB of built-in storage onboard that can be expanded up to 1TB through a microSD card. A 6550mAh battery backs the tablet with 45W fast charging through a USB Type-C port using Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology. The second USB-C port offers DisplayPort 1.4 functionality for external display support.
