Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Priced At 439 Euros, Ships On April 2nd
The Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite will be released on April 2nd in Europe. Prices are starting at 439 Euros for the cheapest WiFi version.
It seems like Samsung is going to ship the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite on April 2nd in Europe with prices starting at 439 Euros for the WiFi version. The tablet got listed by Amazon Germany* already and they’re accepting pre-orders. According to the listing, the Tab S6 Lite features an S Pen, two AKG Dobly-Atmos speakers, and a 10.4-inch screen. It’ll be the first tablet to run Android 10 out of the box.
The mid-range tablet has been leaked many times in the last couple of weeks, but Samsung hasn’t officially announced it yet. I’m not expecting a huge launch event but I’m sure we’ll get a press release soon.
Galaxy Tab S6 Lite Specs: What We Know So Far
Thanks to earlier leaks, we know almost every detail of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 Lite already. Its design is very similar to the one of the Galaxy Tab S6 (review) with a full metal body and clean, slim bezels on the front. The screen is 10.4 inches in size and offers a resolution of 2000 x 1200 pixels. Unlike all previous tablets of the Galaxy Tab S series, this will be the first one to feature an LCD panel instead of an AMOLED one.
One of its most interesting aspects is the supported S Pen. We haven’t seen an affordable Android tablet with active pen support in a while. Huawei announced a couple including the MediaPad M6, but they’re not running any Google services or apps. You can see the Samsung Galaxy Tab S5e (review) as its predecessor but that one didn’t support the stylus.
I’m also excited to see it running Android 10 out of the box. It’ll be the first tablet to ship with Android 10. It’ll be the first one in general because nobody has released an update to the newest version yet. The Galaxy Tab S6 is expected to get it in April.

A Samsung Exynos 9611 octa-core SoC should give us enough power for most tasks. It’s a processor we’ve seen in a couple of mid-range smartphones in the past. According to the Amazon listing, we get 4GB of RAM. Previous leaks suggested that we’ll see versions with 64GB and 128GB of internal storage. I’m expecting a cellular LTE version as well.
I’m based in Germany and pre-ordered the Galaxy Tab S6 Lite already. Some shipments are lacking behind schedule due to the coronavirus, but I should be able to publish a first unboxing video by next weekend.
