Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 to Feature IP67 Water Resistance

Following in the footsteps of its predecessors, Samsung’s upcoming flagship tablet, the Galaxy Tab S9 series, is rumored to feature optimal IP67 water and dust resistance. As per the latest report, there are whispers that this iteration will be more durable than ever before!

Customers have been requesting this feature for a while now, so it’s no surprise that Samsung is finally taking the plunge and continuing to innovate its Galaxy Tab series. 

Galaxy Tab S9 with IP67 water resistance, a game changer for Samsung?

It was peculiar that Samsung had neglected to include water resistance in its high-end tablets, especially when their foldable released in 2022 featured resistance. Although they have produced “Active” models with this ability before, the Galaxy Tab S8 series remained unprotected.

It’s not a lack of capability impeding progress, as evidenced by foldable smartphones that are now water-resistant. Thankfully, Samsung is taking the necessary steps to provide IP67 water resistance for the Galaxy Tab S9 series, ultimately making tablets just as capable and resilient.

Although the verdict is still out, it appears that this year’s Galaxy Tab S9 series will be water-resistant. However, things are known to change when plans for new devices are in progress – as evidenced by Samsung, who initially planned on inserting an S Pen into their upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 5 but have since changed their minds about it.

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series is already one of the best Android tablets available in 2023, and with an IP67 water-resistance rating, it will move ahead to a class above all other competitors. With this added capability, there’s no doubt that the tablet will become even more sought after by users everywhere.
