Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE vs. Galaxy Tab S6: Should you upgrade?
In the world of tech, it does not take much time for a device to get handed the “old” card. The same seems to be the case with the Galaxy S6 Lite that now has an “upgrade” in the form of the latest Galaxy Tab S7 FE. In just a few months after launch, the S6 Lite now has a competitor that can pull more buyers. But before we get convinced by that notion, it is better to pit them against each other so that buyers can decide better if it is worth upgrading or not.
Starting with the power specs, the Galaxy Tab S7 FE brings upgrades like a larger screen, 5G connectivity, and more features. It runs Android 11 while the S6 Lite ships with Android 10. The S7 FE has a 10,090mAh battery, while the S6 Lite settles for a 7,040mAh battery. An octa-core processor powers both tablets, but the Tab S7 FE supports 5G while the S6 Lite lacks the support. The latest tablet lacks a 3.5mm headphone jack, while the slightly older alternative retains it.
Both tablets include 4GB RAM and come with 64 or 128GB internal storage space, expandable up to 1TB with a microSD card. The Tab S7 FE also has a variant with 6GB of RAM. Optics remain the same on both slates, an 8MP rear camera and a 5MP selfie camera. And, of course, you get S-Pen support on both devices.
Now that we have listed the similar and different specs, it is time to reveal our verdict. If you want a tablet to be productive and super creative with the latest features, go for the Galaxy Tab S7 FE.
However, if you are keen to save money while getting similar but not the latest creative features, then pick the Galaxy S6 Lite tablet by all means.
